Children in Reception and Years 1 and 2 recently took part in a Resilience Workshop run by the Face Up Theatre Company. 

The actors used shadow puppets to tell us the story of Augustus the Tiger who had lost his smile.   The children behaved beautifully and loved watching the bubbles, puppets and giant ball of fish!

We were all so excited when Augustus found his friend and got his smile back!  It was lovely to see how engaged our pupils were.  They were keen to retell the story back in the classrooms and the Reception pupils even asked to make their own shadow puppets.
