This half term our Reception children are learning all about the continent of Africa and the different countries in and around it. On 26th April they were able to experience travelling through Africa within a dance workshop run by the Don Rae dance and theatre company.

The Reception children learnt three varieties of dance that took them to Madagascar, South Africa and Kenya which they performed with great delight to our Key Stage One children. We look forward to changing our focus to the continent of India later in the term and taking part in an Indian dance workshop.
