This week, a military historian came in to speak with our Year 5 and 6 children about the up and coming Remembrance Centenary. The children were engrossed in the workshop as they learned about why this year's Remembrance Day is so special. Across the day, the pupils explored a range of artefacts from WWI. They thoroughly enjoyed predicting what each item may have been used for before learning about its real purpose during this key historical time period.
