Everyday we grow together as a year, a class, a school, a community and an individual. Experiences are learning opportunities both in the classroom or when we play.

We share our ideas not as 600 individual voices but as one.

We get better at things by working and growing together as a community.

 

Respecting Everyone and Everything

When we are in our classrooms we respect each other by being kind and helpful to different people within the community of Echelford.

We encourage our peers to make green choices and take pride in our learning environment.

We ensure that our learning space and everyone and everything in it is taken care of and we understand the importance of speaking out when we see someone not making green choices. 

 

Embracing New Experiences

We want people to feel confident to try new things and different experiences. To do this we provide different opportunities:

• Trips and visits

• Roles and responsibilities

• An exciting curriculum

• Working with a variety of people

Sometimes new experiences can be difficult. It is important that we build resilience so we can be successful at our individual goals.

At Echelford we believe everyone has the right to feel happy in school. Everyone should feel included and be supported- no matter what they look like or who they are.

No person or idea is more important than the other.We celebrate and learn about our differences and similarities.
